MAKING STRIDES IN MAY

May started with a public holiday but the month following was anything but slow moving. The month saw an absolutely full house of clients from near and far, we did Lab tours, survived more rain, ran in wings for life and held a fundraiser. May was also the month that brought Genny's beautiful baby girl Rudi into the world, both Gen and baby are doing well and we can't wait to see little Rudi in a purple shirt. Now we aren't ones to pay favourites but May has been a pretty damn good one.

WINGS FOR LIFE

On may the 9th the rain was lingering, but it did not stop the crew from participating in the Wings For Life fundraiser in Brisbane. Thanks to all who joined us, it was the biggest Brisbane WFL event the RedBull team have held and it sure was a fun night clocking up the Km's for a good cause.

PCSRF and GRIFFITH UNI LAB TOUR

We teamed up with some of the Perry Cross Spinal Research team and took a group through the Griffith Research Labs. To see what the team of scientists are putting together is incredible and seeing the research progress each time is like no other. Thanks to all who joined us for a fabulous night at Griffith.

DEMO DAY AT DAVES

A client of ours had his house in Coraki hit pretty badly by the floods, with no resources around him to repair the water damaged insides we organised a crew and trekked down to help out, we pulled out damaged floors, gyprock, cabinets and cleaned from inside to out. Many hands made light work and we sure hope we have helped get things moving for the next stage of Daves Rebuild. See our day HERE

EXERCISE RIGHT WEEK 2022

Despite knowing exercise is good for us, half of all Aussie adults aren’t moving enough. Exercise is not about weight loss. It’s not a punishment. Exercise is a celebration of your body. It is about finding what your body can do and how strong you can be! We’re designed to move!

Exercise right week is about celebrating wins, we want to highlight some of the incredible physical, mental and social benefits of exercise. The crew here at Making Strides often get the comment "you wouldn't need to exercise with a job as physical as yours" and our response is always the same "we all exercise so we can continue to do our job for years to come!"
