The month of May; where the air gets cooler, the sky gets clearer and the crew got fancy for a pretty special event. The wheelchair rugby boys and girls have been training hard for the upcoming nationals and the rest of us have been looking forward to going and watching talents from all across Australia battle for the title. We have even had a visit from our first overseas traveller since COVID hit, with the only problem being she had to get back home too soon! As many go into hibernation for the cooler months we are ramping up for a few busy months, lucky for us people chose to come to the sunny Gold Coast to escape their winter and we are more than happy to have them!

May 15th was a night marked on our calendars for a long time and it was worth the wait! not only did the crew who were able to attend party their socks (and maybe jocks) off they also witnessed the foundation raise over a whopping $200,000.... and counting! The funds raised over the night are an amazing reflection of the hard work, passion and commitment of the PCSRF, sponsors and all attendee's. Thank you to all that have part in this amazing effort, you're helping the next stage of research begin!

Also on May 15th the gorgeous bombshell Heleena tied the knot with her now husband Josh, a beautiful ceremony in the Duranbah Valley was the most perfect venue for this perfect couple. We wish the newly weds all the happiness and success in this next stage of their life together.
WE WENT BLUE AND GREW WINGS
Not really... but we wore blue shirts and drank Redbull (same same). Wings for Life World Event saw us all pile on a bus and clock up the Km's in an effort to raise awareness and money for SCI recovery! The event was sponsored and run so well by the Red Bull team and we cannot wait to be a part of it again next year! Thanks for having us.

NEW LITTLE STRIDER IS IN TOWN!
Congratulations to the new Mum and Dad (Jess and Jake Krause)! Their baby boy Harvey made an early entrance into the world on Sunday, May 23rd. And boy oh boy he is cute. Both mum and Bub are doing well and no doubt will be stealing all our hearts in no time.
