2023 Is Going To Be A Big One

We are back! We hope everyone enjoyed the break with family, friends and the good weather! To kick off the year we wanted to remind you of all of our services. MASSAGE ON MONDAYS

Our fabulous remedial masseuse Abbie has opened up her schedule.

You can now book in on Mondays also!

She will also be offering treatment one Saturday a month. These dates include:

Ensure you start the year niggle free! Our highly recommended and well educated osteopath Nathan is available throughout the week. WELCOME STRIDES NORTH!

You may have seen the hype of the new additional centre on our social media and in your inbox over the holidays! The crew are very excited about the opening of Strides Ormeau in early 2023.



Although we may not have all the details to share yet, we can confirm:

- staff will work across both facilities

- similar equipment will be available (some even fresh newbies!)

- improved parking

- lots of space for activities!

Ensure you share with us where you would like to attend your sessions (Strides North or South or both) upon the opening in the early months of 2023. This will help us to share more information with you sooner! Email Genny and Astrid at info@makingstrides.com.au.

HYDRO HUMP-DAY

We will be reintroducing hydrotherapy into our regular schedule! Bookings will be available on Wednesday's at Miami Pool (Pizzey Park). This pool is both accessible and heated, and our trainers who have hydrotherapy in their secret list of skills, will be taking you through your sessions!

GROUP SESSIONS

If your aim is to make more friends, lose weight or just gain some strength this new year, it's not too late to join the weekly group sessions! Come along either Tuesday 1:30-2:30 or Thursday 1:30-2:30 for a low price of $55, or a 10 session pack up front for additional savings.

BABY JANSSON BBQ

Join us to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Jack and Stacy's second baby girl. A BBQ will be hosted here at Strides on the 3rd Feb @ 1pm.

"EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE" GALA

Tickets are selling out as the event of the year is closing in fast! You can purchase your tickets here or contact Genny at info@makingstrides.com.au to save your spot at the Strides tables. Please note, seats are very limited.

We are also opening the question to all, do you want to donate a prize to auction at the Gala? In previous years there has been restaurant vouchers, meat platters, wine gift packs, sight seeing and adventure packages, artwork, signed merchandise, holiday packages and many more. FUZZY FOOD FACTS

This year Fuzzy is changing it up and going to share more than just some recipes she uses regularly. Having a few healthier alternative recipes up your sleeve is great, but having the knowledge to get creative and cook your own recipes at home is a more helpful tool. Each month this year, Fuzz is going to educate you about the basics of nutrition and how to ensure you're benefiting your training the most through complimentary nutrition.

First up Fuzz shares some great ideas and information about what food you should eat after training to assist the recovery of yours muscle and energy levels. This will get the ball rolling as we all return from holidays and Christmas pudding.
