Jess left her hometown of Toowoomba to pursue a Bachelor of Exercise Science with Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2010. An avid runner in high school, Jess became heavily involved in Touch Football during her studies and still enjoys playing today.

During her post graduate studies Jess was placed at Making Strides for her first clinical practicum of her final year. Jess enjoyed the challenge of neuro combined with the vibrant and active work atmosphere of Making Strides and continued to volunteer her time after her placement to maintain the connections she had made with the clients and staff.
